We are Third Year BSc IT students of Kirti M. Doongursee College, and we successfully completed our On-Job Training (OJT) at Vas Spectrum, Andheri.
The primary objective of this training was to gain real-world industry exposure and develop a practical understanding of how professional websites are planned, designed, developed, and maintained. This experience allowed us to move beyond classroom learning and understand industry-level workflows and standards.
During the OJT program, we gained hands-on experience in website development, particularly using WordPress. We learned how to work with themes and plugins, create and manage web pages, customize layouts, handle content efficiently, and ensure responsive design across different devices. We were also introduced to basic concepts of website optimization, usability, and maintenance.
In addition to technical skills, this training helped us improve our teamwork and communication abilities by working collaboratively on tasks and understanding project coordination. We learned how to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and adapt to real project requirements. Exposure to live projects significantly boosted our confidence and problem-solving skills, preparing us for future professional challenges.
Overall, the On-Job Training at Vas Spectrum played a vital role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation, making us better prepared for careers in the IT and web development industry.
